What is the Value of a Sales Machine?
Most people look at my marketing agency purely in terms of revenue. Whether it’s a lead or a client I’ve had for years, they’re focused on how I can make them more money. They know that they need to market their business and generate new leads, so they come to me.
And they’re certainly right—I get to help people do exactly that. I build automated sales machines that go from a Facebook Ad to a landing page to an email capture to an email offer. It’s the same sales process you’d go through in real life, but there are two key differences:
1. My process is entirely virtual.
2. My process is entirely automated.
And the second point is key.
An automated sales machine gives you more than just leads. It gives you more than just revenue.
It gives you time!
Anyone who has tried to sell their business in the real world knows that it’s a long process. There’s a reason why major companies have massive teams of salespeople—this stuff is crazy time-consuming! And you’re usually investing time with no guarantee of a sale.
As a solopreneur or small business owner, the idea of creating, running, and maintaining your own sales process is insane.
That’s why an automated sales machine is so valuable. It’s not just that it’s generating leads for your business—the real benefit is that it’s doing it 24/7, by itself, without your involvement.
While you sleep, you’re getting leads. While you’re working, you’re getting leads. While you’re on vacation, you’re getting leads.
But not only are you getting leads—those leads are being captured and sold to. By the time they get to you, they’re not a lead anymore. They’re a client!
Let’s imagine, for a second, that you’re trying to generate sales on your own—manually. Maybe you spend two hours per day on sales. You’re finding leads, sending emails, and closing deals. Two hours doesn’t seem like a long time, but when you add it up over the course of weeks, months, or years—things start to get a little crazy.
Two hours per day is 10 hours per week. That’s roughly 40 hours per month, or one full workweek that you’re spending on sales.
Over the course of a year, we’re talking about 520 hours of your time spent on sales alone. That’s 65 8-hour workdays! If you value your time at $50 an hour, that comes out to $26,000! You’ve just spent a quarter of your year and $26,000 on sales.
An automated sales machine would give you those 65 days $26,000 back. Imagine what you could do with an extra 65 days in the year! You could build new products for your business. You could give more time and attention to your clients. You could take a 65-day vacation. Hell, you could build another business entirely.
So, when you think about the value of a sales machine and the value of having someone like me build this process for you… Stop thinking about revenue alone! Your time is equally valuable, and an automated sales machine will give you more time to work on the things you do best (and other stuff that generates revenue for your business).
Time gained means more revenue, less stress, and a better business.
It means happiness.
